Catholic Charities Programs and Services
Our programs operate on the principals that lasting and meaningful changes in a person's life take time, patience, and an ongoing mechanism for encouragement and accountability. For many this is the agency of last resort, where needs are met, issues addressed, and barriers eliminated, and in the process we help build a just and compassionate society.
In 1965, Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi was established as a Faith Based non-profit organization providing food and emergency services to the Diocese of Corpus Christi which covered Laredo, Texas.
Services Provided: Emergency Aid; Rural Outreach; Representative Payee Program; Ministry and Life Enrichment for the Disabled; Immigration & Refugee Services; Counseling; Housing Counseling Department; First Call- Connecting People and Resources, Community Wellness and Education Outreach/Healthy Living Center.
