Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi, Inc. is proud to be the Nueces County liaison for the Statewide campaign Long Live Texans. Under the direction of Texas Department of State Health Services, we are working to build strong community partnerships in Nueces County and make a thoughtful assessment of what the health and wellness of the County looks like. We advocate for healthy eating, safe environments in the community where people can be more physically active and education and resources for tobacco cessation.

Starting June 11, two new classes will be offered free to the public at the Palacio Residencial. “Your Health Your Life” is a 7 week long series of classes which will help the public learn about choosing, budgeting and cooking with healthy food choices, as well as how to recognize and learn more about diabetes.
